Gameday: March 5 vs. Australia

Outfield prospect Lorenzo Cain was added to big league camp yesterday to fill the void left by Ryan Braun (World Baseball Classic) and Tony Gwynn Jr. (shoulder injury), but it remains to be seen whether he makes any starts for manager Ken Macha. He’s Macha’s lineup for Thursday’s exhibition game against the Australian National Team:

Seth McClung will start for the Brewers, and Jorge Juliom Joe Bateman, Trevor Hoffman, Tim Dillard and Nick Green are also scheduled to pitch. I believe Hoffman is once again penciled in for the seventh inning.
