Weeks out of Tuesday lineup
Brewers officials assured us last night that Rickie Weeks was OK after taking a Edinson Volquez pitch off the chin, but the second baseman is out of the lineup for Game 2 of the three-game set. Craig Counsell is in his place:
Craig Counsell 2B
Corey Hart RF
Ryan Braun LF
Prince Fielder 1B
J.J. Hardy SS
Mike Cameron CF
Bill Hall 3B
Jason Kendall C
Manny Parra LHP
Bronson Arroyo is starting tonight for the Reds. He’s 7-5 with a 3.59 ERA in 13 starts and three relief appearances against the Brewers, but he lost two of three decisions last year.

I’d be honored to post on your blog.
It stinks that Weeks is out of the lineup. He is providing some spark at the top and is making great contact this year, just as some of us had predicted. I am not worried tonight. Arroyo is going to give up a bunch of runs, as long as we are patient enough to wait back on his slow stuff. Braun also breaks out of it tonight. He changed his warm-up song back to Go Getter, which some posters believe is his good luck charm. He walked 3 times last night after the switch.
