Brewers PR boss Mike Vassallo channeled his inner “Simpsons” fan and suggested to the scoreboard crew that they use audio of Mr. Montgomery Burns for every strikeout by new starter Mike Burns.
Burns just struck out Joe Mauer to end the top of the first inning, and they pulled it off.
Say it with me: “Excellent.”
Love it. I hope he strikes out 20.
