Brewers, Cubs set for Saturday matinee
Regular lineup for the Brewers on Saturday but the Cubs, as promised, made some changes. Lou Piniella installed Kosuke Fukudome as his leadoff man and dropped the struggling Alfonso Soriano to sixth.
It’s a cloudy day and a light rain was falling as the Brewers began batting practice. Hopefully we’re not interrupted today by Mother Nature.

AS SAID BEFORE, DITCH HALL , DITCH GERUT, DITCH CAPPRONI(SP?) KEEP GAMEL….MELVIN AND MACHA, ARE YOU READING THIS?????? GAMEL HAS BEEN FAITHFUL TO THIS ORGANIZATION AND HAS THE REPUTATION TO GO ALONG WITH THIS COMMENT. GROOM HIM IF YOU ARE SUCH A LEADER!!!!! YOU WILL LOSE GAMEL AND HE WILL NOT LOOK BACK! THIS IS COMMON SENSE……….
LOL wow. First of all, nobody wants Hall and with Milwaukee being a small market team they cannot afford to just release him. Secondly, who is Caproni?? Third, the Brewers control Gamel for 6 years so how will they lose him? Also, Gamel can be groomed in the minors. Gamel knows how the business of baseball works and he will not resent Milwaukee. He will go back down to Nashville and do his best to improve himself. Chill out dude.
