Hart grounds out, walks in first rehab game
Brewers right fielder Corey Hart, recovering from an appendectomy, went 0-for-1 with a walk in his first rehabilitation appearance for Triple-A Nashville on Friday night. Hart grounded out leading off the second inning and walked in the fourth but was retired on a fielder’s choice grounder.
Hart batted fifth in the Sounds’ lineup. He is expected to build up endurance during Nashville’s four-game series at New Orleans and if all goes well he will re-join the Brewers on Tuesday.
