Gomez back in starting lineup vs. Liriano

With lefty Francisco Liriano on the mound tonight for the Twins, former Minnesota outfielder Carlos Gomez was back in the starting lineup Wednesday for the Brewers.

Gomez, who has struggled since coming off the disabled list on May 21, is back in the lineup in place of left-handed hitting Jim Edmonds, who went 3-for-4 last night with two runs scored and two doubles.
Aside from Gomez starting, the rest of manager Ken Macha’s batting order remains the same:
Weeks  2B
Hart  RF
Fielder  1B
Braun  LF
McGehee  3B
Gomez  CF
Lucroy  C
Escobar  SS
Parra  P
