Edmonds back in Brewers lineup

Outfielder Jim Edmonds is still nursing a sore Achilles, but he’s back in the lineup as the Brewers try to avoid a three-game Astros sweep. Manager Ken Macha would like to begin using Edmonds more, assuming his health holds up, and is tentatively planning to test him as a starter today, tomorrow in Chicago and again Wednesday.

The Brewers certainly need his bat. They haven’t scored in 23 consecutive innings entering today, and are 0-for-20 with runners in scoring position in those innings.
Here’s the full lineup:

Rickie Weeks  2B
Corey Hart  RF
Prince Fielder  1B
Ryan Braun  LF
Casey McGehee  3B
Jim Edmonds  CF
Alcides Escobar  SS
George Kottaras  C
Randy Wolf  LHP
