Brewers, Orioles return Rule 5 picks
Rule 5 right-handers Pat Egan and Adrian Rosario both cleared waivers Thursday and were returned to their original clubs — Egan to the Orioles and Rosario to the Brewers. The teams plucked each other’s relievers during December’s Rule 5 Draft, and by rule would have had to keep the selected player on the 25-man roster all season or offer him back.
The Brewers assigned Rosario to advanced Class A Brevard County.
