Kotsay goes again

Corey Hart is out of the Brewers’ lineup once again Sunday in favor of Mark Kotsay, who makes his second straight start in right field. He’s not as fleet as he used to be, but Kotsay did make a game-saving catch in Saturday’s win.

Here’s the full lineup:

Rickie Weeks 2B
Mark Kotsay RF
Ryan Braun  LF
Prince Fielder 1B
Casey McGehee 3B
Yuniesky Betancourt SS
Jonathan Lucroy C
Carlos Gomez CF
Chris Narveson LHP

Rick, thanks for the coemmnts, as always.I agree that it’s too early to make too much of these, but I think they are also pretty interesting in terms of giving us a decent estimate of where the teams stand *right now*.So, maybe not for the actual 2009 season but, how would things play out if the season started right now? It gives us a pretty good idea of how things look at this point in time.I think there will definitely be a lot of changes by April and the projections will change quite a bit.Anyway, regarding the team, I think I am a bit more pessimistic than you. I’m really worried about the pitching, as I stated above. As you probably know, I’m not even that big of a fan of Chris Young. But it’s him and Peavy and then a cast of guys you’d want battling for your fifth spot, if your team had a decent chance. The offense is in much better shape than the pitching, imo, but, like Daniel, I kinda doubt they’ll be in the top 4-5 in the NL. Big holes at second, short, and catcher. But, other than that, it’s a pretty good offense.
