NLCS Game 1 fan guide
Another series-opening national anthem by Joseph Attanasio and a ceremonial first pitch by Gorman Thomas will highlight today’s festivities prior to Game 1 of the National League Championship Series at Miller Park.
PARKING LOTS: The Miller Park parking lots will open at Noon CT.
GATE TIMES: Gates to Miller Park will open at 1:00 p.m.
RALLY TOWELS: All fans in attendance will be given a Brewers Rally Towel upon entry, courtesy of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
CEREMONIAL FIRST PITCH: The ceremonial first pitch will be tossed by Gorman Thomas. Thomas is directly connected to the organization’s earliest roots as he was the first-ever draft pick in 1969 by the Seattle Pilots (first round; 21st overall selection). He also played 11 seasons with the Brewers from 1973-76, 1978-83 and 1986 and still makes his home in the Milwaukee metro area.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: The national anthem will be performed by Joseph Attanasio.
GAME TIME: First pitch is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. CT. The game will be televised exclusively on TBS.
MILLER PARK ROOF: The roof is expected to be open but is subject to changing weather conditions. Fans and media may call the Brewers roof hotline tomorrow morning for the latest update (414-902-4636).
BREWERS TEAM STORE BY MAJESTIC: The Brewers Team Store by Majestic will open at 8 a.m. tomorrow and will remain open until 8 p.m. There will also be satellite merchandise locations throughout the Miller Park parking lots. A select collection of new Brewers NLCS apparel will be available at the Team Store beginning Sunday.
NLCS COMMEMORATIVE GAME PROGRAM: Major League Baseball’s official NLCS Game Program will be available for purchase at kiosks throughout Miller Park ($10 each).
