Brewers sign former Indians, Cubs righty
The Brewers continued a busy couple of weeks by signing right-hander Jairo Asencio on Monday to a Minor League contract with an invitation to Major League Spring Training camp.
Asencio made 30 Major League relief appearances last season, going 1-1 with a 4.91 ERA with the Indians (18 games, 5.96 ERA) and Cubs (12 games, 3.07 ERA).
