Attanasio releases statement

A statement from Brewers principal owner Mark Attanasio:

“We are disappointed with the news today of the suspension of Ryan Braun and his admitted mistakes. It’s clear that Ryan used bad judgment, but we accept his apology and believe that he should be given the opportunity to redeem himself.

“We have always been and continue to remain strong supporters of Major League Baseball’s Joint Drug Testing Program, an initiative that strives to ensure the integrity of the game.”

When will enough be enough already? Who cares Ryan Braun admitted to it-he did drugs, which meant he cheated. Not only did he cheat but LIED about it as well. The ONLY reason he feels bad is because he got caught.
Also WHO CARES he gets suspended for the rest of the season without pay?? He will STILL make 117 million…as far as I am concerned the message the MLB needs to send to these arrogant cheats is a lifetime ban in baseball. A 65 game suspension/100 game suspension means nothing. In other professions if you are caught stealing, cheating, doing drugs, etc, you are FIRED. WHY is it MLB players are not subjected to the same penalties as the rest of the world.
I do not feel for Braun or any other player who is indicted. They cheated and thus helped their teams win thru cheating.
MLB: issue LIFETIME BANS. THIS will teach MLB players lessons.

Ryan Braun should buy out Aaron Rodgers’ share of their restaurant. Then Lance Armstrong can step in and be Ryan’s new business partner. Two cheats and two liars. I hope they choke on their new endevour.
